Building Theory: Gender Hesitation Theory
In Communication Theory, a course required by the Boston University College of Communication, the course requirements include the construction or application of a new theory by students. In this paper, I unpack the general reactions of cisgender individuals to non-binary pronouns and language using existing theories, and use that understanding to construct a theory explaining such reactions.
Social Media and Crisis Communication
This paper was completed as part of coursework for Contemporary Public Relations at Boston University and centers on how public relations professionals make use of (or don't) social media, and the growing necessity for mastering that realm.
